run


cutted hair, no more running, fell off my bike

got a hair cut. at the cool hairdresser place at holland v. they serve you free tea/coffee, give you mags to read while they cut your hair and wash and condition your hair with supposedly no additional charge. but i suppose it's all counted in the total cost right? my hair looks odd. then again, when has it NOT looked odd?

hurr anw. i have officially given in to my inflamed muscles. they have won - i won't be running for a whole complete 7 days. going to be tuff keeping my fitness level up like this. hai. well anw, that means i won't be doing my 1500m. gah. aiyah but that's supposed to be nothing ...right?

so scary. went down to nie to try out grass running, see if some miracle had occurred overnight and maybe i could run again. hah, i was so wrong. after a few strides i gave into the pain. it was sheer..pain. heh. so i just did some drills, i haven't done drills in what? 3 months? anw was glad to know that kneelifts, ankling and other drills didn't induce any pain. but then tedster said that if i cont to do it regularly something else will ache. the whole compensation thing.. i should know that pretty well by now, you see, that's exactly how i got my left rectus femoris injured.

so the plan is this- don't run for the next week. do port d on sat and sun. if it still hurts then i will walk during the run leg and treat it as a swim + bike comp. and then for the following week rest some more. i think i might rest for at most a month. a month ..30 days without running. aiyoh. imagine a fat blob of pat. ew. ugh so i will be swimming practically everyday now -.-"

anw today is sunday. and guess what? i fell down AGAIN. doing what? yup..biking again. third time in three weekends. not bad eh? thankyou thankyou. was so retarded la... i had already released the left clip shoe and i was fine. then suddenly i lost balance and couldn't release my right shoe. BAM! the next moment i was on the ground covered in sand and owching away. quite gross, the wounds. at least they're all flesh wounds, no big bruises. the one on my calf looks like shark gills. cos it got caught in the chains. gross. quite funny, 2 weeks ago- my right knee, 1 week ago- my right elbow, today- my right palm and my left calf. lol it's moving up! (knee, elbow, palm) and now it's doubled as well. oh well. hai. okay today's workout wasn't that good. i felt lousy. but the bike shoes helped. i don't know why i was going so slow. kinda angry at myself. next week's supp to be the start of our 4week long hellish training. and i can't run!!!!!!!! imagine how much i'm going to be losing out on. sigh. anw, not really looking fwd to tuesday's swim trng. i don't like the hard swim sessions there. aps trngs are better. sigh.

now my bike's gone all deformed again. scratches everywhere. arghh i don't like it like that. and i have to take it down to the bike shop AGAIN. cos the handlebar's gone crooked (again). getting sick of having to take it down every week. so troublesome.
